The increasing demand for lightweight and durable composite materials in industries such as aviation, automotive, shipbuilding, and construction highlights the need to improve manufacturing technologies. One key technology is the winding of axisymmetric shells, enabling the creation of high-quality products with complex geometries. Despite significant advancements in winding technology, challenges related to the precision and efficiency of the process remain, which can be addressed through specialized software. Developing software to control the winding machine is essential for ensuring high-quality end products, reducing material waste, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Modern software solutions must consider a wide range of parameters to ensure the uniformity and integrity of the composite shell. Firstly, the software must dynamically control and adjust filament tension in real-time, as it directly affects material lay-up uniformity and prevents defects in the finished shell. The spindle rotation speed is another critical parameter, determining the material feed rate and affecting the quality and precision of layer lay-up. The software must provide accurate control over rotation speed, considering the system&#8217;s inertial characteristics and the material&#8217;s mechanical properties. Precision in material lay-up is essential for the structural integrity and mechanical properties of the final product. The software must ensure high accuracy in the positioning of the lay-up element, minimizing deviations from predetermined trajectories. This involves integrating sensor systems to monitor position and correct trajectories in real-time. The goal of this research is to create effective software for generating winding programs for axisymmetric shells, ultimately improving the manufacturing process of composite materials. A comprehensive approach, including modeling the winding process and preliminary testing, is employed in the initial stage.
