Invitation to Join the Editorial Board of the Journal
Challenges and Issues of Modern Science

Greetings!

We are pleased to invite you to join the editorial board of our scientific journal Challenges and Issues of Modern Science. Your knowledge, experience, and contributions to scientific research are incredibly valuable to us. We are confident that your participation will help enhance the quality and reputation of our publication.

As a member of the editorial board, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review scientific articles submitted to the journal, with the authors’ identities kept anonymous.
  • Support the academic level of publications by providing professional advice and recommendations to authors.
  • Participate in making important editorial decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of the scientific community and the promotion of modern scientific achievements.
  • Spread information about the journal among your colleagues and the scientific community, helping to popularize it and attract new authors and readers.
  • Recommend external reviewers who are experienced experts in the subjects of submitted articles.
  • Ensure that articles adhere to ethical publication standards.
  • Combat plagiarism and ensure that articles meet academic standards of originality.
  • Oversee certain stages of the editorial process and ensure communication through the submission system, Open Journal Systems, which the journal’s website operates on.

Please note that candidates for the position of editor must meet the following criteria:

  • Having articles published in scientific journals and other scholarly publications.
  • Expertise in a specific scientific field relevant to the journal’s subject matter.
  • Participation in international scientific conferences, symposia, and other events.
  • Adherence to high ethical standards in publications and research.

The team of the editorial board must be published on the journal’s website, including the following information for each editor:

  • Academic degree
  • Academic title
  • Affiliation
  • Country
  • Web links to research profiles such as Web of Science ResearcherID, Scopus Author ID, ORCID ID, etc.
  • Email address

The consent text and editor questionnaire will be automatically generated according to the provided information using this template and sent to your email. The formatting may vary slightly depending on your email client.

A copy of the email will also be automatically sent to the journal’s editorial office. After you sign these documents, we will store them on the journal’s platform in a restricted-access section. If necessary, we will contact you after submitting the form to discuss further details and next steps.

    1. We will create a PDF file with your consent and editor information based on the copy sent to the editorial office’s email, and send it to your email address.
    2. Print and sign the paper copies of the consent and questionnaire at the end of each document next to your name.
    3. Scan or photograph all pages of the signed documents and send them to the editorial office’s email: conf@fti.dp.ua.
    4. Create your own account on the journal’s website using the link with the Registration Instructions, which are the same as those for authors.

    You may also sign the PDF file with a digital signature if you have the technical capability to do so.
